We now have the most popular 9″ and 12″ GrooveMaster III variants in stock here at Ammonite Audio, ready for next day UK delivery.  Over the years, the GrooveMaster tonearm has grown up quite a bit, and now show a standard of finish that’s as good as anything out there.  The GrooveMaster III brought a much more ergonomic threaded counterweight system, which alone accounts for much of the inevitable price increase over the old GrooveMaster II.

We also stock the GrooveMaster SME style sliding base, and GrooveMaster Rotary VTA Lift, which are both impeccably engineered, with real ‘heft’.

Is there a removable headshell tonearm available that’s better than a GrooveMaster III?  There are certainly plenty of arms that are not even remotely in the same ball park for mechanical and musical control, but to really better a GrooveMaster you do have to look at much more expensive arms like the Glanz S Series, which are truly magnificent but cost an additional £6k – definitely worth the money if you have it, but the GrooveMaster gets you at least half way to that level.
