Ikeda IS-2T Headshell

Description

The Ikeda IS-2T headshell is precisely machined from a single piece of aluminum alloy, with a really sensible design of connector block machined from an alloy that Ikeda don’t specify, but looks like stainless steel.  This block provides adjustment of overhang and azimuth – unlike most headshell that are adjustable at the bayonet connector, the IS-2T is rock-solid when tightened up, so security of the tonearm connection is second to none.  Look at the underside photo here to see how nicely this is executed by Ikeda.

The net weight of the IS-2T is 16g, and the lead wires are made of 6N copper (The purity of copper is 99.999999%) with rhodium plated tags.
