Silver Finish Armboards For Technics SL-1200 Turntables

Earlier in 2025 our key anodising contractor died unexpectedly; and since then we have been unable to replicate the lovely bright, sparkly silver anodised finish that we were used to, on our armboards for Technics SL-1200 turntables (satin black finish is still fine).  The best silver finish that we can now get is certainly neat but a slightly more muted shade of silver that still matches the painted top plate of GR/GR2 and SL-1300G turntables, but not quite the brightly finished top plate of the G/GAE turntables.  Here is an armboard with the new finish outer ring, and a centre plate previously anodised in the bright silver finish:

We are still trying to find someone, preferably in the UK, who can finish our armboards with the bright silver that we want, but in the meantime we are offering silver stock armboards (only ones in stock) at a discounted price of £175 for SL-1200 Mk2/Mk5/G/GAE and £190 for SL-1200GR/GR2 and SL-1300G (price includes VAT and UK delivery but international shipping is extra).
