Technics SL-1200 Arm Boards Back in Stock

Our machined alloy replacement arm boards for Technics SL-1200 turntables (from Mk2 onwards) are now back in stock and available on the shop in black and silver anodised finishes.  For now, the boards are available only with centre plates pre-cut for Jelco 9″ tonearms, or with blank centre plates that can be cut for most 9″ tonearms.

In response to demand, we intend to offer arm boards with centre plates custom cut (to order) for other tonearms such as Rega, SME, Origin Live, Funk, Fidelity Research, Ikeda, Schick, Schroeder, Morch, Thales to name but a few.  Most 9″ arms will fit, but please get in touch to ask for confirmation.  The longest arm that can be accommodated on the SL-1200 is the roughly 9.5″ Fidelity Research FR-64S (as shown in this picture) and its new Ikeda IT-345 equivalent.  Be aware that 10″ inch arms won’t fit in our armboard and in any case if they did the headshell will tend to overhang the front of the plinth, which is not very convenient.  The additional cost of custom arm boards will be £30 on top of the basic price for a blank board.
