New Glanz S Series Tonearms
Glanz have now advised that the new 9″ MH-900S, 10″ MH-1000S and 12″ MH-1200S tonearms have now replaced the older MH-94S, MH-104S and MH-124S arms, which are no longer available. The main and most obvious change is with the counterweight, which is now a more complex design that allows the weight to be positioned further forwards than before, and that is useful for reducing effective mass. Glanz have also tweaked the damping design of the arm tube and tweaked the geometry of the 9″ and 10″ variants.
Construction of the arms remains stainless steel, but now with additional resonance control measures. The price has risen, to £6995 irrespective of effective length.
